HUMAN INTEREST STORIES

Photography helped me become a better artist and art helped me become a better photographer. It has also been a source of wisdom and insight to my own heritage and past, because my grandparents also did photography. They documented their lives, family, and historical events such as Partition in 1947. Seeing moments in time frozen like that always fascinated me and inspired me to seek out unique stories, and share them through my lens.

I love to capture diversity and complexities of human beings, and their habitats. Even when I photograph landscapes and urban spaces, there is always a small element of human interest stories in them, such as folklore.
